Goods and services are registrable, but alcoholic goods in classes 32 and 33 and “retail and wholesale store services” in classes 35 and 42 are not allowed.

Renewal

Every 10 Hijri years after the filing date. A grace period of 6 Hijri months is available on payment of a late fine.

Use Provisions

Non-use of a mark for a period of 5 years from registration renders it open to an action for cancellation by third parties.
