Goods and services can be registered; however, class fees are calculated based on the number of items covered - consequently, all goods and services must be specifically itemised and so, for instance, "parts and fittings" cannot be used.

Renewal

10 years from the filing date and every 10 years thereafter.

Use Provisions

Non-use of a mark for a period of 5 years from registration renders it open to an action for cancellation by third parties.

Renewal

Annuities fall due from the grant year, and are payable on the grant date and each anniversary thereafter.  A six-month grace period is available on payment of a surcharge of 10% of the fee for each month after the initial due date.
