Renewal
Annual renewal fees become payable only after allowance of patent applications, with the first annual fee falling due before expiry of 60 days from the date of notification of allowance. Subsequent annual fees are payable on the anniversaries of the filing date. Failure to pay renewal fees when due, or within a 6 month period of grace, will lead to lapse of the patent.
