Supporting charities, both near and far

Alongside its client work, Lysaght continues to support a number of charitable initiatives, with colleagues taking part in fundraising activities throughout the year in aid of causes close to the team.  Throughout the year, our employees contribute to a “charity pot” which includes money raised during an annual Charity Day where we encourage fancy dress, play various games and organise a bring-and-buy food sale.  It is not a stretch to say that the Charity Day has become somewhat of a Lysaght institution, loved by staff and with too many funny photos to pick a favourite!

In December 2025, the Directors doubled the charity pot to award a total of £2,000 to be distributed to charities which are nominated by the staff.  The selected four Jersey charities in 2025 were Jersey Hospice, Dementia Jersey, the animal charity JSPCA, and Family Nursing & Home Care.  We would like to recognise the work that these charities do and the importance they have in our local community.  Everyone at Lysaght sends heartfelt thanks for their services, support and dedication to helping others.

In addition, and to honour our relationship with our partner office, Ekeme Lysaght in Cameroon, we were delighted to support HURAC (Humanitarian Response Actions) as part of our annual charity giving.  HURAC is to use our donation to provide cybersecurity awareness initiatives for children and adolescents in Cameroon, which we fully endorse as a vitally important project for young people.

On behalf of the Lysaght Directors, we thank all our employees for their generous donations during 2025, and we send our best wishes to all the charities that we supported for the year ahead.
