AIPPI 2025 World Congress – Yokohama

Richard Stilwell recently attended the AIPPI 2025 World Congress in Yokohama, Japan on behalf of Lysaght.  The event brought together a global community of industry leaders, legal professionals and academics to explore the latest trends and developments in intellectual property law and policy. 

Throughout the Congress, Richard engaged in plenary sessions and contributed to discussions within the Young AIPPI Forum.  These sessions addressed a wide range of topics relevant to the evolving IP landscape and the diverse groups within the AIPPI structure.  Richard enjoyed the opportunity to connect with both new and longstanding clients, fostering valuable professional relationships. 

Following the event, Richard made a stop in Tokyo, where he met with more clients. His visit happened to coincide with the World Athletics Championships at the National Stadium, offering a chance for him to witness some elite athletes in action one evening during his stay. 

Lysaght continues to plan future client visits and representation at conferences such as the AIPPI World Congress in 2026.  We hope to meet you then!
