Wilfried Schreder

IT & Systems Specialist

Wilf joined Lysaght in 2006 and has enjoyed a varied career in the IP industry from working within patent services for French corporate clients to trade mark formalities.

Born in France, Wilf is fluent in French, providing valuable foreign language support to the company.

After a short spell living in Malta, Wilf returned to Jersey and re-joined the company as a senior trade mark administrator in 2016. During his time away, he developed a keen interest in social media marketing and even started his own creative venture.

In 2016 Wilfried was awarded the Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property from Bournemouth University.

In 2023 Wilf formally transitioned into the company’s technical and digital solutions team, maintaining, and developing our client database, IT systems and operational working practices.

Wilf’s IP, technical and creative backgrounds help to further ensure that all our technical solutions are firmly aligned with our core business.

David Booth

David joined Lysaght in 1997, fresh out of school after the completion of his A-Levels. He was keen to work for a company where he could use his French and German language skills and Lysaght, with its global reach, was the perfect fit.

As Head of our IT and Systems team, David is responsible for the company’s entire IT equipment and systems, as well as the development of our in-house database and information systems.  He holds a Master's degree in Information Technology from the University of Liverpool.

His IT and systems experience is fully-aligned with the firm’s core IP operations, having served a number of years during his initial tenure as an Administrator in our Trade Marks department, with a portfolio including various Caribbean and English-speaking African jurisdictions.

David became a director of the company in 2018. With his length of service and broad range of disciplines, he plays a key role in setting and challenging the overall direction and strategy of the business.
