A Decree No. 197 of 28th September 2017 has been issued by the Ukrainian Intellectual Property Institute, which provides that a fee may be paid for the acceleration of examination of a trade mark application after 3 months from the filing date of the application. If this fee is paid, the examination itself will take place within 3 months of payment of the fee, and accelerated registration of the trade mark should then take around 6 to 7 months under normal circumstances.
