The UK has left the EU and the deadline for extending the transition period has now passed. The payment of Annual Maintenance Fees (AMF) against registered Vanuatu trade marks has been introduced with effect from 1st March 2020. The Trade Marks Act 2015 entered into force in Trinidad & Tobago on 26th June 2020. The new law recognises International Registrations obtained under the provisions of the Madrid Protocol, and contains a number of provisions which will simplify the registration process.
